Marketing Assistant (Part-time) | TEC - Jackson, MS

About the Job

The overall purpose of this position is to assist the marketing team in the implementation of all marketing activities. This part-time position requires a basic knowledge of marketing concepts, practices and procedures.


Job Responsibilities

  • Creating Excel spreadsheets for media and Direct Mail;
  • Writing and submitting Charitable Contributions for approval;
  • Posting instructions, creative materials, and announcements;
  • Scheduling professional photography sessions for new employees;
  • Submit press releases;
  • Various other miscellaneous projects as requested by the Director.

Skill Set/Certifications Desired:

  • High School diploma/Associate Degree preferred;
  • Two years’ experience in similar industry with one year of marketing experience;
  • Excellent computer, organizational and clerical skills;
  • Written and verbal communications skills;
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
